atsuyo
Instructor
Atsuyo is originally from Japan and lived in Europe (the Netherlands & Ireland) for over 10 years before moving to New Zealand in 2013. She developed a deep passion for yoga, not only for the physical practice of asanas but also for the journey of self-discovery that yoga offers beyond the mat. Balancing the demands of being a mother to three children while managing a corporate life, yoga quickly became an integral part of her life. She found that yoga didn’t make her life busier but, rather, fulfilled and complemented it. She enjoys teaching classes that feature flowing sequences, where participants can be mindful, curious, playful, and calm all at once. Her aim is to create a sense of wholeness and she loves sharing the space and energy with everyone in the room. She has completed her RYT 200 Teacher Training at Inspire Yoga Teacher Training NZ and Oki Yoga in Japan.

HELA
Instructor
Hi! My name is Hela. I teach yoga, Pilates, and kids' yoga, with a special love for restorative and calming practices. My passion is helping people find a sense of calm in the chaos of everyday life by connecting with their breath, body, and inner stillness.
I also host community circles, breathwork sessions, and sound healing experiences—creating spaces for people to unwind, recharge, and just be. Whether it's an energizing reformer class or a soothing restorative practice, my focus is always on guiding others to move with awareness, breathe more deeply, and feel at home in themselves.

I discovered Pilates about 2 decades ago and it’s a daily thrill to see how someone move from unstable and weak to walking upright, balancing better and improve muscle tone. I completed my studies on all Pilates equipment and followed up with more workshops and studies to satisfy my curiosity.
I mostly teach Mat and Reformer classes – you will find me at Whitford on Mondays. I mostly enjoy one on one sessions to support and encourage during the healing or recovery and strengthening phase. The active ageing is my speciality – seeing someone regain independence in cases where they had to hold on for assistance in order to get out of a chair.
I love going for a walk with my partner over weekends and indulgence in New Zealand’s exquisite nature scenes, or have indepth conversations with friends around a dinner table.

MOLLY
Instructor
My name is Molly and I teach reformer pilates. I have danced since the age of 5 and I grew up as a competitive dancer. I have taught dance and gymnastics and am now putting all my knowledge to use for pilates! I have always had a passion for exercise and helping people reach their goals, build strength and feel more confident. When I am not teaching, I enjoy walking, going to the beach and spending time with my friends and family and what I love about teaching pilates is getting to know my clients and creating a positive space where everyone feels welcome and comfortable :)
EMMA
Instructor
I’ve been practicing Pilates for over four years, and it’s been a game-changer in helping me recover from injuries, build strength, and find balance.
I’m passionate about creating a positive, uplifting space where movement feels empowering and enjoyable.

jenna
Instructor
Hi there! My name is Jenna Tams, I teach mat pilates. I got my certification through Studio Pilates which includes a prerequisite of an anatomy class. They taught me over 88 beginner to intermediate mat exercises. I also learned a little about spinal problems, posture, core stability, and muscle imbalances.
I really loved getting to know and feel the difference when it comes to the true core and body strength people need over all our years of life.
I started mat pilates during covid at home and really liked how the exercises made me feel. I went to some Core Strength mat classes after moving to New Zealand back in 2023 and asked if I could work at this lovely studio after I got certified and I got a lovely “yes”!
I am still new as of January 2026 but am learning more every time I teach and adore meeting new people and having fun in my classes. I hope everyone likes a little American accent!!

emily
Instructor
I started out as a student attending Pilates classes, and through my ongoing physiotherapy studies, the idea of becoming an instructor seemed both fun and exciting! It also aligns well with my values of health and well-being. I love encouraging people to keep moving, especially as we age. I also enjoy reading and listening to true crime and thriller stories. I’m a big foodie too, so you’ll often find me trying new recipes and exploring new restaurants!
ABBY
Instructor
I developed a passion for movement from a young age. After completing my Reformer Pilates certification in 2024, I discovered a love for helping people move better, build strength, and feel confident in their bodies. Since then, I’ve completed my Personal Training and Mat Pilates qualifications and spent a year teaching at a boutique Pilates studio in Dubai, working with a wide range of clients. Expect good vibes, a great playlist, and a class that challenges you in all the right ways. Outside the studio, you’ll find me outdoors, spending time with friends and family, or enjoying a dinner date with the girls.
JESS
Instructor
Jess is our new mat and reformer Pilates instructor with a deep passion for holistic health and wellbeing.
She’s currently completing a degree in Psychology and Exercise Science, where she’s exploring the mind–body connection and how movement can support both mental and physical health.
With a background as a DJ, Jess knows the power of rhythm, energy, and flow, and now she brings that same creativity into her Pilates classes.
Expect an emphasis on mindful movement, uplifting vibes, and a supportive space to reconnect with yourself and build strength from the inside out.
Jess can’t wait to guide you on your journey to strength, balance, and inner alignment.

Charlie
Instructor
Charlie has a rich background in classical ballet and cross-disciplinary training. Her passion lies in mindful movement and empowering others to feel strong, balanced, and at ease in their bodies. She brings a warm energy to her classes and enjoys helping people build strength, improve mobility, and feel more confident in how they move. When she’s not in the studio, you’ll likely find her with a cup of coffee and her Kindle, or on the Reformer deepening her practice.

Chanelle
Instructor
Chanelle is drawn to the moments of calm and connection yoga offers. She values the way yoga creates space to turn inward, free from expectations, and has found it to be a grounding practice of presence and curiosity. She completed her teacher training at Sala, where she deepened both her practice and her love of sharing yoga with others.
Her classes weave flowing movement with mindfulness, encouraging students to move at their own pace, explore with playfulness, and ground into the present moment. With an emphasis on connection, both inward and outward, Chanelle hopes each practice feels like an open space to arrive just as you are.
Tatum
Instructor
Tatum (AKA Pocket Rocket) began teaching Pilates in December 2024. Her journey into teaching was inspired by her own experience recovering from a debilitating back injury. Pilates was the only practice that helped her rebuild strength, mobility, and confidence. After recovering, she knew she wanted to help others do the same by improving their functional strength and overall quality of life. Known for her high energy and her commitment to precise form, Tatum brings a dynamic and supportive presence to every class. Outside of Pilates, she can usually be found staying active at the gym, travelling, or baking delicious treats.
grace
Instructor
Growing up as a dancer and practising Pilates for over 10 years, movement has always been a huge part of my life. After completing my Reformer Pilates training, I fell in love with teaching and helping people feel stronger, more confident, and more connected to their bodies. I especially love Hot Pilates and the energy, challenge, and feel-good atmosphere it brings. My classes are all about creating a challenging but supportive environment, with a focus on good technique, intentional movement, and making sure everyone feels comfortable working at their own level. I love bringing positive energy into the studio and, of course, a good playlist! Outside of Pilates, I’m studying Psychology and Philosophy at the University of Auckland. You’ll usually find me spending time with friends and family, swimming in the ocean, going for walks, finding a good matcha spot, or fitting in a Pilates class of my own.
amber
Instructor
I discovered reformer pilates during my own wellness journey and I’m passionate about helping clients feel strong, confident, and connected in their practice. I’m currently deepening my knowledge through my Mat Pilates level one certification, while continuing to build my own practice on the Reformer. I bring High-energy, a warm, and supportive personality to every class I teach.
When I’m not teaching or moving, you’ll usually find me with a good book. I can’t wait to move, challenge, and grow with you!
